It's time for the great gratitude give-away! Just because I really enjoy this book, and I'm turning 40 in 40 days, and this is my favorite month. Who even needs a reason to give something away? It's just so much fun! I got my little box of fresh, new copies of this book yesterday in the mail - we are good to go!
I read this little book every year. It contains inspiring thoughts, and stories - and some angles on gratitude that I had never really considered. I love to read it this time of year because it gets my attitude set up for the holiday season. This book contains spiritual ideas, but is written for all denominations - so it's easy to make those spiritual thoughts apply to whatever your
religion may be. I just love it. :)
Give-away guidelines:
There will be three separate drawings - comments left today, Friday, 11/7, through Sunday, 11/9, will be used for the first drawing which will happen on Monday morning.
You get to choose (from the three below) which Paddywacks Studio goodie you'd like to have with your book. Yahoo!
I'll post the info for the second drawing on Monday, 11/10. Keep checking the blog! :)
Here are the Paddywacks goodies you can choose from:
Planner cover! This cover fits well on three kinds of planners (about 4"x8") that are available at many places. I include a specific list of those planners. I personally use the Staples store brand monthly/weekly planner. Fun!
Inside of the cover...
Paddywacks "adorable apron". This is a men's dress shirt re-creation! You'll see many parts of the men's shirt in this apron. I wear mine all the time while I'm working around the house - I love the big pockets. :)
The last item is this little zippered and lined cosmetic pouch. It's lined with a nice blue color reclaimed tee-shirt fabric (all my Paddywacks words and letters are taken from, or printed on reclaimed tee-shirts).
There you have it!
Leave a comment. Don't be shy :)
Tell us something you're grateful for -
Tell me which goodie you'd like to have -
I'll post the results and get the address on Monday.
Have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi, I missed the part about leaving a comment about what we're grateful for. I was just thinking about that today and my list is huge but if I had to just pick one...it would be that I'm grateful my husband who is only 37 survived his massive stroke from a car crash last year while I was 33 weeks pregnant. And one year has passed recently and he is such a miracle! I'm so grateful he's here with me and our 4 children. I thank god every day!
Today I woke up and was extremely tired...it was hard for me to really wake up and then all of a sudden I remembered that I was going to wake up every morning and tell myself one thing I'm grateful for. I'm walking by my children's room to make the coffee and my little 3 year old son has crawled into bed with my 11 year old daughter. And they are snuggling up together asleep. Today I'm grateful that I have all my children and that they are all healthy and last but not least...that they like each other!
What a great way to start the Thanksgiving month!
Something I am very grateful for is my family. I know that that is a cliché kind of thing to say, but here is my reason. I had to move from Utah to Mesa in Sept. in kind of an emergency way and my Mother in law and her husband have been so kind to us and have been letting us live with them rent free since then.
Also while I don't have a house of my own my Mom puts up with me and my boys coming to her house everyday.
I seriously have no idea what I would do without such wonderful caring people in my life.
How fun! A giveaway! Since most people have already said family I will pick something else. . .like the weather! It is so beautiful here right now and I love being able to go outside with my kids finally! I love all your cute goodies but if I had to pick one I would pick the apron because it is so cute and I actually really need one! We want to come see your addition sometime too. . .
Today I woke up wondering what I'm thankful for...not wondering because I couldn't think of one thing but wondering how do you JUST pick ONE. Today I'm thankful for the good night's rest my family and I received last night. I'm thankful that my children don't grow up in a country where they hear bombs at night. I'm thankful for my freedom and for the peace and security I feel for my family. Love the apron too!!!
I'm thankful for recipe swapping...without that I'd be eating Top Ramen every night.
I'm also thankful for blogging. Because of my fellow bloggers, I've become a better mom, better wife, and an all around better person. Thank you fellow bloggers for making me realize all the little things I'm thankful for.
I'm grateful for the life I have! Which includes such great blogging buddies! :)
Hi Whitney,
I am very very grateful for my family, our good health, the opportunities I have been given in my life, and the love my children and husband. I am grateful for being born into such a good family with such good parents, who showed me how to live a full, grateful, and loving life. What a great post to have this time of the year!
I am grateful for true love.
Tough choice on the list of goodies; but I do believe that the planner cover would be especially handy in a couple months.
I'm thankful I'm getting to bed before 10:00...good night!
Jaime

I'm also grateful that I'm getting into bed before 10:00...Good Night!
